Lead Trainer and Walker

Jackie became a Certified Trainer and Behavioral Consultant after graduating from the Dog Training Internship Academy. Jackie was born and raised in Vermont with dogs, cats and horses. Her parents gave her a dog on her first birthday and Jackie has had dogs in her life ever since. Susie Q, a Norwegian Elkhound was her best friend growing up. Jackie spends her time with her one pup Hazel who is an avid ball junky & trickster. They’ve spent many an afternoon at Funston on the beach. She’s excited to discover new trails and other areas Funston has to offer with dog walking for Top Dog SF. When Jackie is not dog walking, she volunteers and fosters for Muttville Dog Rescue. Dogs are such wonderful creatures and she learns so much from them everyday!

Max is a Seattle native who moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2010. Shortly after, he began working in a dog daycare and discovered his passion of working with dogs and animals. As he continued to work in daycares, he was inspired to become a trainer so he could help dogs live their best lives. He attended DTIA in San Francisco in 2015, and his goal is to specialize rehabilitating with fearful or aggressive shelter dogs so they can be placed into their perfect forever homes. He also has volunteered and worked with rescued farm animals, and has goals to continue work training and rescuing livestock animals. He lives in San Francisco with his partner and two clicker savvy bunnies, Dr. Harris Bonkers (PhD) and Hyzenthlay.

A dog lover all her life, Lindsay got into dog training after adopting her dog Barnaby, a reactive, yet adorable, scruffy mutt. Wanting to work on his reactivity and creating a safe and happy life for him in the city, Lindsay enrolled in dog behavior schools and took him to a variety of classes. While learning about her dog’s behavior, she became more interested in dog training and helping others with their dogs. She is a graduate of the Dog Training Internship Academy with a Certificate in Training and Behavior Consultation, a graduate of Trish King’s Academy of Dog Behavior, certified in Pet First Aid and CPR, Dog*Tec certified and volunteer at the SFSPCA. Today Lindsay is teaching and working with dogs and their humans, to build stronger bonds and open forms of communication.
