All Day Pre-School for Puppies!
At our small Puppy Head Start Program, your puppy’s training will blossom as we partner with you to improve their foundational education. Skills we cover at structured play care with training, play time, mental enrichment and relax/settling time for your puppy include:
Potty training
Crate training/ alone time training
Polite play skills
Handling
Group training
Exposure
Bite inhibition
Recall
Basic behaviors like: sit, down, hand targeting, drop, exchanges, name recognition, handling

Puppy Head Start Program
Here at Top Dog SF, we help build your puppy’s foundation to be a Top Dog! Our 4-week program is perfect for puppies 2 months to 4 months old. We give your puppy an opportunity to play, socialize, and learn with our skilled, certified trainers and staff for 8 hours per day. Our Puppy Head Start Program is customized to help your puppy take advantage of the critical early developmental phase of these early months through positive reinforcement for a life long benefit.
Our Top Dog SF Head Start Program is designed to work alongside the training you are doing with them at home and out in the world to strengthen their foundation and prepare them for city life and a positive future! We offer an initial one on one puppy consult, pup parent teacher conference, puppy socials and private training sessions as well. Enroll now as space is limited!

Why sign up for Puppy School at Top Dog SF?
Requirements to be a Top Dog Puppy Student
- Puppies from 2-4 months, and up to 6 months based on weight. Inquire for eligibility past 4 months based on weight.
- Puppy has had a veterinary wellness examination within 7 days prior to beginning Top Dog SF Head Start Program.
- Vaccinations: We require the first round of the 3 core vaccinations (DHPP, Canine Influenza & Bordetella) to be completed at least 5 days before your pup’s first day
- Puppy has a negative fecal test for Giardia and intestinal parasites within 7 days prior to beginning the Head Start Program.
- Puppy has been at your home for at least 7 full days.

The Puppy Head Start Program is from 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday
*Drop off between 8-9am and pick up between 3-4pm
